Kleiters Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the district of Valby, close to public transport and only 15 minutes by bus from the city center.

Valby is today a part of Copenhagen, but until 1901 it was an independent village. Valby’s history dates back to the 10th century, and today, the place still has a village touch to it with its old houses, cozy cafes and specialty shops.

The Carlsberg breweries have its headquarters in Valby, like Nordisk Film, the oldest film studio in the world. It was in these studies, among other things, that the Olsen Banden films were recorded.

When you take the short trip into the center of Copenhagen, you can stroll from Rådhuspladsen, just off Tivoli, down the pedestrian street Strøget with the many shops and eateries. Do not miss the side streets of Strøget, which offers fun and different shops, old squares and cozy restaurants. At the opposite end of Strøget you find Kongens Nytorv with the Royal Theater and Nyhavn, the old canal area. From Nyhavn you can take a canal tour and have a different look at the city from the water side.

This is just a fragment of the many place in Copenhagen, which offers experiences for both travelers traveling alone, traveling couples or families traveling with smaller or larger children.
